Easter & Lotte World

Easter Egg student gave me

Disney World? No wait.....Lotte World

Had  a good Easter, went to Lotte World (a theme park). It was a lot of fun. I rode a lot of rides and ate a lot of food. Certain aspects of it reminded me of Disney World – or a take on it. The Castle looks similar and in the evening they have a little parade where characters dance about in lighted costumes. But it was a lot of fun and I had a good time — it has certainly been a while since I rode a rollercoaster. Weather was very nice but got chillier in the evening. Got there around 3pm and left at 830ish – long day!

Mel, I am glad that you had a good Easter. The theme park does remind me of Disney..esp. the castle. You look cool in the stocks. I need to check your blog more often. I have not been doing that like I was. I really enjoyed your other blogs, too. I read all of them this morning. Love ya, Aunt Pat

mel, i’m with katie; first thing i saw was your dirty feet! the photo reminds me of williamsburg; i think we have a picture of you in their stocks – with shoes. you should have told everyone what types of food you ate – octopus shish-ka-bob, etc. ingredients unknown! maybe disneyworld should take note of this and introduce more exotic foods. on a final note, the egg’s backdrop is one of my potholders; how nicely the colors of potholder and egg blend! love, mom

I remember the Williamsburg stock picture. Amazing, right? I rarely remember these sorts of things – but I really remember that episode. I don’t think I have to introduce the food – because you just took care of it for me! ha ha ha I think Disney World has something like that though; I want to say the name is the Epcot center….hmmm regardless you can sample other worldwide cuisine there. Katie G is a big fan of it and and her cousin got married there. Mrs. Joanne would probably be the authority on DWorld sites and attractions. Why not ask her. Also, I love how you noticed the potholder — I knew you would notice. 😀

The egg design looks much like what I used to do for you and your brother over past easters! Did you eat it after taking the picture? I’m with your mother: tell everyone what you had to eat at the park? Your culinary adventursomeness is remarkable–I’m in awe! But I still say the best thing I tasted on our visit was the dried persimmon. Can you ship me any? Love, Dad.

Yeah, I remember your mad skill with art……. Of course I ate it afterwards! That was a perfectly good egg. ha ha Culinary adventursomeness? Ha ha You would have been right there with me, I know. In general, our family is fairly adventurous when it comes to different kinds of food. My co-worker is still trying to talk me into trying the silkwork pupae that they sell near the school. I may eventually give in and give it a shot, despite its less than attractive appearance. If you want some dried persimmon I can try and ship it – just le me know! 😀
